NEW 2012: CITY VISITS GHENT (DUTCH)

We organize communicative city visits for groups of pupils from secondary schools.

Look at some pictures from the city visits in Lille - Namur - Liège - Gent.

Goals:

• To show the youngsters the many faces of the city
• To make sure they enjoy themselves, because the city visits are a playful activity, which boosts the language learning
• To make the youngsters speak; the games and tasks they have to fulfill (and which are adapted to their specific level) make sure they have to speak French/Dutch!

Our team consists of young animators from the city or its surroundings. They guide groups of maximum 10 youngsters.

Each pupil receives a "carnet de bord", a small book that summarizes what they have done that day. The teachers get a small folder with the necessary information.

PRACTICAL DETAILS

• For pupils from the first to the sixth year of secondary school.
• Schoolyear 2012-2013: 135 euros per group of maximum 10 pupils
• Schoolyear 2013-2014: 145 euros per group of maximum 10 pupils
• From Septembre till June
• Duration: a whole day (10-16h).
• The school takes care of the transportation to and from the city.
