We had great Easter holidays at Roeland! There were courses to suit everyone's taste: in Ghent we organized an English Junior day camp (pictures) and a Dutch day camp for newcomers (pictures). There were also several French language courses in Wallonia: a Junior course at Poix-Saint-Hubert (week 1 - week 2) and three themed courses: Bure Sport (week 1 - week 2), Virton Découverte (week 1 - week 2) and Dinant Expression (foto's).

Training sessions and direction teams meeting

We have scheduled a few training sessions and meetings the next few weeks and months:
• 11/05 or 18/05: training session for new administrators
• 15/06: direction teams meeting
• 22/06: training session "first aid" (in French)

You can register for the First Aid course via [email protected] For the other training sessions staff members will receive a personal invitation.

Artscene All English and Artscène français

Our English and French theatre festivals are coming up! The Artscene All English Festival takes place from 25 - 27 April and the French festival, Artscène français, from 2 - 5 May. The English festival welcomes 9 groups from Flanders, Russia, Hungary and Romania. Two professional troupes from the UK will show their expertise as well. Artscène français is celebrating its 20th anniversary! The French festival hosts 12 groups from Flanders, Italy, Romania, Luxemburg, Canada and France. There will also be three professional performances and lots of festive activities! Both festivals take place in the Tinnenpot Theatre in Gent.

For more information and the programme check out our website. During the festival we will upload photos and a festival newspaper every day. All performances are free and open to the public.
