ArtDraLa is the international umbrella organization of youth theatre festivals in foreign languages. This organization enables groups that take part in the Artscene project to go to festivals abroad and foreign groups to come to the festivals in Ghent.

The first meeting of ArtDraLa took place in La Roche sur Yon (France) in 1994. This network combines all organizations that organize youth theatre festivals in French as a foreign language.

During this meeting it was decided to publish a newsletter ('Réseau-Info', every 3 months), to make a website and to organize an annual meeting on the occasion of the 'Festival des festivals'.

Those who wish to participate in this network have to accept a few agreements. The first agreement 'Charte de coopération' was signed in Ghent in 1995. The second agreement 'Charte de formation' was signed in Arad (Roumania) in 1997. A third agreement 'Charte des valeurs partagées' was signed in Agadir (Marokko) in March 2007.

The statutes (French text) were published in the Belgian Bulletin of Acts on May 8th 2002.

The members (French text) of ArtDraLa come from all over the world but they shore common values and goals.
