WHAT?

The Artscene festivals strive to get young people improving their communication skills in a foreign language through theatre and performance. During an Artscene festival we organise workshops for all the participants, there are forums, cultural activities, professional performances, reviews...  After the final performance all participants are invited to a party and a happy get-together.

FOREIGN GROUPS & FESTIVALS

Roeland invites a number of foreign groups to the festivals as well. All participants will be staying in Ghent. At the start of each festival the foreign groups get the opportunity to have a look round the historic city of Ghent. Flemish schools also get the opportunity to participate in youth festivals abroad. The collaboration between the different countries is organized by the umbrella organization ArtDraLa ("Art, Drama, Languages").
