Discover Carlsbourg, a picturesque village nestled in the green hills of Belgium.
Go into nature as an intrepid explorer on walks or mountain bike rides, summon the courage to go kayaking on roaring rivers or climb trees in the verdant forests. There's a lot of exciting days planned! Alongside all the adventures there are language workshops that have been specially designed to boost your language skills in a fun and challenging way.
Activities
- Experience days full of energy and satisfaction, with sport, adventure, swimming, games and language activities. It's a jam-packed agenda!
- Participate in sports and outdoor activities that are directly connected to the French you have learned in the language workshops. Have fun and give the best of yourself while developing your language skills!
- Also enjoy some quieter moments so you can recharge your batteries and make new friends. Relaxation and a laid-back atmosphere are the key words here!
Excursions
- Depending on the weather, you can discover the Semois in a kayak or enjoy a sporting adventure in the trees.
- Go on nature walks or mountain bike rides.
- Enjoy the swimming pool on the estate in Carlsbourg where you are staying.
Roeland Classic – full immersion
The Roeland Classic sticks closely to Roeland’s well-known formula for success. Participants are fully immersed in the target language and are expected to speak only the target language throughout. The team consists of people who are either native speakers and/or speak the target language very well. They will do everything in their power to help you to express yourself more fluently in the target language. There is no shame in making mistakes, it is part of the process – we just want you to try your best! For the language workshops, you will be divided into small groups according to your level. These classic camps are perfect for anyone who wants to make huge progress while having lots of fun. By the end of camp, you will even find yourself dreaming in the target language!

Coach transport
Coach transport is not included in the basic price and amounts to 75 euros (return).
Location
Carlsbourg offers a fantastic setting. You will stay on an enormous country estate, in the middle of nature. The institute has three sports halls, two fitness rooms and a local swimming pool.
You will sleep in a single room in an enormous chateau that oozes charm.
